Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure safety
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and increase awareness across the team
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor CCTV footage and use reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document loss incidents
- De-escalate incidents and conflicts professionally, prioritizing both safety and customer experience
- Execute audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts and findings
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
- Support multiple store locations as assigned
- Maintain flexible scheduling availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of demonstrated experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Strong understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
- Proven conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
