Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Walnut Creek, CA – full-time role protecting store assets, reducing shrink, and ensuring customer safety. $25–$29.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain prominent store presence on the sales floor for 75–80% of shift time to deter theft and promote a safe environment
- Partner with store managers and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor CCTV systems and use reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document losses
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols across the team
- Professionally de-escalate conflicts and incidents, prioritizing both safety and customer experience
- Complete audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts
- Ensure full compliance with all asset protection policies and applicable licensing requirements
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings and provide testimony when required
- Support multiple store locations as needed and maintain punctual, consistent attendance
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Working knowledge of retail operations, shrink management, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proven conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort operating CCTV systems and retail reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Experience
