Sephora Canada seeks an Asset Protection Partner in Vaughan, ON — part-time role focused on loss prevention and store asset protection (CAD $25–30/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive surveillance on the sales floor and monitor CCTV to detect, deter and investigate external theft and internal shrinkage.
- Apprehend or deter individuals in accordance with applicable laws and Sephora policies; preserve evidence and prepare detailed incident, recovery and audit reports.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with store leadership, District Loss Prevention Manager, local law enforcement, mall security and neighbouring retailers.
- Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training and provide in-the-moment coaching to store teams to reinforce operational controls.
- Support store operations through self-audits, safety inspections, inventory preparation and execution of shrinkage-prevention plans.
- Provide testimony in court when required and communicate findings and corrective actions to store leadership and district management.
- Maintain required provincial licensing and meet scheduled shift-hour commitments, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of asset protection / loss prevention experience in a retail environment; 3 years preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Satisfy and maintain all provincial licensing requirements where applicable.
- Availability for flexible scheduling and to work across multiple locations within the market.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine stocking and physical tasks in a fragrance-rich environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment; candidates with 3 years' experience are preferred. Proven experience working with CCTV, conducting investigations and liaising with law enforcement is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 30 per hour.
