Sephora Canada is hiring an Asset Protection Partner in Vancouver (full-time). Safeguard store assets, operate CCTV and support loss-prevention programs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine surveillance on the sales floor and monitor the CCTV system to detect, deter and document external theft and suspicious activity.
  • Apprehend or deter individuals in accordance with applicable law and Sephora policies; preserve evidence and prepare detailed incident, recovery and audit reports.
  • Collaborate with store leadership, District Loss Prevention Manager, local law enforcement, mall security and neighbouring retailers to manage investigations and reduce shrinkage.
  • Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training and provide in‑the‑moment coaching to store teams on prevention techniques and operational controls.
  • Perform store self‑audits, safety inspections and support inventory preparation and shrinkage‑prevention plans; communicate findings and corrective actions to leadership.
  • Serve as company representative in legal proceedings when required, including testimony in criminal or civil cases.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment (1–3 years preferred).
  • Must satisfy and maintain all provincial or local licensing requirements for asset protection/security.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing, listening and interpersonal skills; ability to coach colleagues calmly and effectively in the moment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays and to cover multiple locations within the market.
  • Ability to meet the store’s required weekly hours (Full‑time: 30–40 hrs/week).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a fragrance‑filled environment.

Experience
