Sephora Canada seeks an Asset Protection Partner in Tsawwassen, BC — full-time loss prevention role (CAD$25–30/hr) focused on surveillance and asset protection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Protect store assets through proactive floor surveillance and monitoring of the CCTV system to deter and detect external theft and internal shrinkage.
- Apprehend or deter individuals in accordance with applicable laws and Sephora policies; preserve evidence and prepare detailed incident, recovery and audit reports.
- Collaborate with store leadership, District Loss Prevention Manager, mall security and local law enforcement; provide testimony in court when required.
- Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training and in‑moment coaching to frontline employees to sustain awareness and mitigate risk.
- Conduct store self-audits, safety inspections and inventory-preparation activities; communicate findings and contribute to shrinkage prevention plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
- Satisfy and maintain all required provincial or local licensing/registrations for security/loss-prevention activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to provide composed, effective coaching during incidents.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent; availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays and to travel between multiple store locations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to work in fragrance-rich retail environments.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on asset protection or loss prevention experience within a retail setting, including use of CCTV, incident reporting and interaction with law enforcement.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 30 per hour.
