Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Troy, MI – safeguard retail assets and ensure store safety, $21–$24.75/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or participating in asset protection meetings and training to reinforce safety protocols across the store
- Maintain strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe retail environment
- Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction strategies and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, monitor, and investigate potential losses and discrepancies
- Respond to incidents professionally, de-escalating situations with a focus on maintaining safety and client experience
- Execute regular audits and prepare comprehensive reports documenting asset protection efforts and findings
- Support multiple store locations as needed and maintain strict compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings, including potential court testimony on behalf of the company
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, inventory shrink, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Proficiency in conflict de-escalation and interpersonal communication
- Comfort and competence with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
