Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong store presence on the sales floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service delivery, and sustain a safe environment
- Lead or participate in meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection protocols and enhance safety awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity and investigate suspected losses using CCTV footage and reporting tools
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience outcomes
- Execute asset protection audits and prepare comprehensive reports for management review
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings, including court testimony if required
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in conflict de-escalation techniques
- Comfort with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
