Sephora Canada is hiring an Asset Protection Partner in Toronto. Full-time role focused on store loss prevention and asset protection (CAD$25–30/hr).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive surveillance on the sales floor and monitor CCTV to detect, deter and, when necessary, apprehend individuals committing theft while adhering to legal requirements and company policy.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports for thefts, recoveries, accidents, investigations and internal audits; preserve evidence and, when required, testify in court.
  • Work closely with store leadership and the District Loss Prevention Manager to execute shrinkage-prevention plans, support inventory preparation and complete store self-audits and safety inspections.
  • Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training to store teams and provide in-the-moment coaching to reinforce best practices and behavioural deterrents.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security and neighbouring retailers to support investigations and recoveries.
  • Meet required weekly shift commitments and maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and across multiple locations within the market.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment (preferred).
  • Valid and maintainable licences as required by provincial or local jurisdictions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain composure and give effective coaching in-the-moment.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and willingness to travel between multiple store locations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to work in a fragrance-rich retail environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience
