Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Thousand Oaks, CA – $23–$27.12/hr. Safeguard retail assets and ensure store safety with loss prevention expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or joining meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Partner with store leaders and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV and reporting tools to identify security concerns
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and customer experience
- Execute audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Comprehensive understanding of retail operations, inventory shrinkage, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and standard reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
Skills
Experience
