Sephora Asset Protection Partner role in Thousand Oaks, CA. Full-time hourly position safeguarding store assets, $23–$27.12/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence, dedicating 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection meetings and training to reinforce safety protocols and increase awareness
- Monitor store activity and use CCTV systems to identify, investigate, and report losses
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience
- Collaborate with store managers and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives
- Execute audits and prepare asset protection reports
- Testify in court on behalf of Sephora if required
- Represent Sephora with reliability across multiple locations as needed
Qualifications
- 1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Conflict de-escalation skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
