Sephora in Temecula, CA seeks a full-time Asset Protection Partner to lead loss prevention, CCTV monitoring and incident response. $23–$27.12/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, preventative presence on the sales floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support client service, and uphold store safety.
- Monitor store activity and investigate incidents using CCTV and company reporting tools; prepare detailed incident and audit reports.
- Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Respond to, document and professionally de-escalate security incidents while prioritizing client and employee safety and experience.
- Conduct audits and compliance checks, support multi-location coverage as required and testify in court on behalf of the company if necessary.
- Lead or participate in asset protection meetings and training to reinforce protocols and improve loss-prevention performance.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
- Demonstrated ability in conflict de-escalation and incident management.
- Familiarity and comfort using CCTV and loss-prevention reporting tools.
- Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to build trust with cross-functional teams.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and meet punctuality/attendance requirements.
- Availability for flexible scheduling during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) and ability to work 30–40 hours per week.
