Sephora Asset Protection Partner role in Tampa, FL: $21–$24.75/hr, full-time retail security position safeguarding store assets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Spend 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and increase awareness
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate inventory losses and shrink incidents
- De-escalate situations professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Complete audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink drivers, and safety practices
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse teams
- Conflict de-escalation and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
