Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading and joining meetings to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong floor presence for 75–80% of shift time to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure safe environment
- Monitor CCTV systems and use reporting tools to identify and investigate losses
- Collaborate with store managers and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports on asset protection efforts
- Ensure full compliance with asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings, including testimony in court when required
- Support multiple store locations as needed
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
