Sephora Canada — Asset Protection Partner in Surrey, BC. Full-time role safeguarding store assets, surveillance and shrinkage prevention (CAD$25–30/hr).
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Protect store assets through proactive floor surveillance, CCTV monitoring and deterrence of external theft.
- Apprehend or deter suspected shoplifters in accordance with applicable law and Sephora policies; preserve evidence and prepare detailed incident, recovery and audit reports.
- Collaborate with store leadership, District Loss Prevention Manager, mall security and local law enforcement; provide testimony in criminal or civil proceedings when required.
- Develop and deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training for store staff; provide in‑the‑moment coaching to maintain compliance and reduce shrinkage.
- Perform store self-audits, checklists and safety inspections; communicate findings and partner on corrective action and inventory-preparation procedures.
- Contribute to the design and execution of shrinkage-prevention plans and operational controls across multiple store locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
- Satisfy and maintain any provincially or locally required licensing for security or loss-prevention work.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing and interpersonal skills; ability to provide coaching under pressure.
- Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends and holidays and willingness to work across multiple locations within the market.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine stock‑handling and physical inspections.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
