Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Sparks, NV—safeguard retail assets and maintain store safety. $21–$24.75/hr, full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce loss prevention protocols and awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity and investigate potential losses using CCTV footage and reporting tools
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing both safety and customer experience
- Complete audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts and findings
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and applicable licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as assigned
- Represent Sephora and provide testimony in court proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink management, and safety protocols
- Strong conflict de-escalation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
