Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong visible presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft and support client service.
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to monitor store activity, identify losses, and conduct investigations.
- Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts professionally while prioritizing client and employee safety.
- Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and execute shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Complete audits, prepare asset protection reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
- Lead or participate in meetings and training to elevate asset protection awareness and adherence to protocols.
- Support multiple locations as required and represent the company in legal proceedings, including testifying in court when necessary.
- Adhere to scheduling expectations and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance during peak retail periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with store teams and leadership.
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and incident-management skills.
- Familiarity with CCTV operation and retail reporting tools.
- Strong verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to meet required weekly shifts (Full Time: 30–40 hours/week), including nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience
1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention with hands-on exposure to shrink mitigation and customer-facing environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in loss prevention or security preferred.
