Sephora in Skokie, IL seeks an Asset Protection Partner — full-time hourly role ($23–$27.12/hr) to protect assets and ensure safe client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, proactive presence on the selling floor (approx. 75–80% of shift) to deter theft, support client service and preserve a safe environment.
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; identify, investigate and document loss incidents and suspicious behaviour.
- Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to implement shrink‑reduction strategies and safety protocols.
- Respond to and de‑escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing client and employee safety and accurate incident reporting.
- Conduct audits, prepare asset protection reports and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple locations and represent the company in external proceedings, including testifying in court when required.
- Participate in and lead asset protection trainings and meetings to raise awareness and reinforce procedures.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
- Demonstrated ability to de‑escalate conflicts and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and standard reporting tools; experience conducting audits and preparing loss reports.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail; ability to build trust and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and to sustain long periods on the sales floor.

Experience
1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention with hands‑on exposure to shrink‑reduction tactics, incident response and use of CCTV/reporting systems.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
