Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Scottsdale, AZ. Full-time hourly role ($21–$24.75/hr) protecting store assets and ensuring customer safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Spend 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols across the team
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to develop and implement shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor CCTV and reporting tools to identify patterns and investigate potential losses
- De-escalate challenging situations professionally while prioritizing safety and the client experience
- Complete asset protection audits and prepare reports documenting findings and recommendations
- Adhere to all company asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and compliance standards
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings and court testimony when required
- Support multiple store locations as assigned by leadership
- Maintain consistent attendance and flexibility across nights, weekends, and holiday retail peaks
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory shrink, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across organizational levels
- Proven conflict de-escalation and professional communication skills
- Comfortable operating CCTV systems and retail reporting software
- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication abilities
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs regularly
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention roles. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of retail operations, inventory shrink dynamics, and safety protocols. Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing challenging customer or employee situations is highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Post-secondary coursework in security, loss prevention, or business administration is preferred but not required.
