Sephora Asset Protection Partner – Full-time retail security role in Scottsdale, AZ. $21.00–$24.75/hr. Safeguard assets, deter theft, investigate incidents.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols and increase awareness across the team
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity and use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document losses
- De-escalate incidents and conflicts professionally, prioritizing the safety of clients and employees
- Complete audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts and findings
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required, including court testimony
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and company procedures
- Support multiple locations as needed and maintain reliable, punctual attendance during peak retail operations
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Comfort using CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication abilities
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout a retail environment
