Sephora in Sarasota, USA seeks an Asset Protection Partner — full-time hourly role ($21–$24.75/hr) protecting store assets and ensuring client safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, proactive presence on the sales floor (75–80% of shift) to deter theft, support client service, and preserve a safe environment.
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; investigate potential losses and prepare detailed incident and audit reports.
- Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to implement shrink-reduction strategies and safety initiatives.
- Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts professionally, prioritizing the safety of clients and employees.
- Execute compliance activities, complete audits, and, when required, represent the company in legal proceedings or testify in court.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in retail operations, loss prevention, asset protection, or hospitality; 3 years preferred.
- Practical experience with CCTV systems and loss-reporting tools.
- Proven ability to de-escalate conflict and manage sensitive incidents with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to build trust across store teams.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and maintain a consistent schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience
1–3 years in retail operations, loss prevention, asset protection or related hospitality roles; prior experience with CCTV and incident response preferred, with 3 years considered an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certifications in security, loss prevention, or related fields preferred.
