Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Santa Monica, CA. Full-time hourly position safeguarding store assets and ensuring customer safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety awareness by leading or participating in asset protection meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the sales floor to deter theft, support client service, and ensure a safe environment
- Partner with store leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives across the location
- Use CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify, monitor, and investigate inventory discrepancies and loss
- De-escalate security incidents professionally, prioritizing both safety and client experience
- Execute asset protection audits and prepare detailed reports documenting loss prevention efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and legal compliance standards
- Support multiple store locations as needed and provide testimony in legal proceedings on behalf of Sephora
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory shrink, and store safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Proven conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
