Sephora Asset Protection Partner

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible on‑floor presence (approximately 75–80% of shift) to deter theft, support client service and ensure a safe environment.
• Monitor store activity and investigate suspected loss using CCTV and company reporting tools; prepare and maintain accurate incident and audit reports.
• Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to develop and execute shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
• Respond to incidents, de‑escalate conflicts professionally while prioritizing client and employee safety, and coordinate follow‑up actions.
• Conduct regular audits, ensure compliance with asset protection policies and licensing requirements, and represent the company in legal proceedings if required.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings to reinforce asset protection protocols and promote safety awareness across the store.
• Provide flexible coverage for multiple locations as needed and comply with scheduling requirements during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
• Proven ability to de‑escalate conflicts and manage sensitive incidents while maintaining client experience.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss reporting/incident management tools.
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail and the capacity to build trust across cross‑functional teams.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform routine on‑floor duties.
• Available for a full‑time schedule (30–40 hours/week), including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance required.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention with demonstrated incident handling and investigative capability.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or coursework in loss prevention, security, or related fields preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25 to USD 29.50 per hour.
