Asset Protection Partner at Sephora, San Francisco – $25–$29.50/hr, full-time retail security role safeguarding store assets and ensuring customer safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and increase awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document losses and incidents
- De-escalate conflict situations professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Complete audits and prepare reports on asset protection efforts
- Represent the company in court proceedings when required
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficiency in conflict de-escalation techniques
- Comfort with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
