Sephora Asset Protection Partner in San Francisco—safeguard store assets, deter theft, and lead safety initiatives. $26.25–$30.94/hr, full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Spend 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and maintain store safety
- Lead and participate in asset protection meetings and safety training to reinforce protocols
- Collaborate with store managers and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, monitor, and investigate losses
- De-escalate security incidents professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports on asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed
- Testify in court on behalf of Sephora when required
- Meet minimum weekly shift requirements (30–40 hours) with flexibility for peak retail operations, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and store safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and digital reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
