Sephora Asset Protection Partner in San Francisco, CA – hourly position safeguarding store assets, preventing loss, and ensuring safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75-80% of time) to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Collaborate with store managers and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience
- Complete audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed
- Testify in court on behalf of Sephora if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink mechanisms, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
