Sephora seeks an Asset Protection Partner in San Francisco, CA — hourly role ($25.00–$29.50/hr) focused on loss prevention, safety and incident response.

Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible on-floor presence (75–80% of shift) to deter theft, support client service and preserve a safe shopping environment.
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; identify, investigate and document losses or suspicious behaviour.
- Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Respond to incidents, perform de-escalation and prioritise client and employee safety while preserving the client experience.
- Conduct audits, prepare asset protection reports and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings when required, including providing testimony in court.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage sensitive incidents with professionalism.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and standard incident reporting tools; strong attention to detail for audit work.
- Availability to work retail peak hours including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Skills
Experience
1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention, with proven experience in incident management and loss-mitigation tactics.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in criminal justice, security or loss prevention preferred.
