Sephora Asset Protection Partner in San Diego, CA – $23–$27.12/hr, full-time retail loss prevention role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service, and ensure customer and employee safety
- Lead and participate in asset protection meetings and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols and awareness
- Collaborate with store management to develop and align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity using CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify potential losses
- Investigate incidents professionally and de-escalate situations while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports on asset protection efforts
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Testify in court on behalf of the company when required
- Maintain flexible availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Strong understanding of retail operations, shrink reduction strategies, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proven conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
