Asset Protection Partner at Sephora Sacramento – $23–$27.12/hr, full-time retail security and loss prevention role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness through participation in meetings and training to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with store managers and district leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV and reporting tools, and complete incident documentation
- De-escalate challenging situations professionally while prioritizing customer and employee safety
- Execute audits and prepare reports supporting asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required
- Maintain flexible scheduling availability during peak retail operations including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink drivers, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Conflict de-escalation and professional communication skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and incident reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication
- Ability to physically lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
Skills
Experience
1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention. Understanding of retail shrink drivers, operational safety protocols, and loss prevention best practices is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized asset protection or security training is advantageous but not required.
