Sephora — Asset Protection Partner in Roseville, CA (Full-time). Hourly pay $23.00–$27.12; responsible for loss prevention, CCTV monitoring, and incident response.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible on-floor presence (approximately 75–80% of time) to deter theft, support client service, and ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Implement and promote store safety protocols and shrink-reduction initiatives in partnership with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager.
- Monitor store activity using CCTV systems and reporting tools; conduct investigations into suspected loss or safety incidents.
- Respond to incidents, perform professional de-escalation, and prioritize client and employee safety while preserving the client experience.
- Execute asset-protection audits, prepare loss and incident reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple store locations as required and provide testimony in legal proceedings on behalf of the company when requested.
- Participate in meetings and trainings to reinforce asset-protection practices and safety awareness.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Working knowledge of retail operations, shrink drivers, and loss-prevention techniques.
- Proven conflict de-escalation skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Comfortable using CCTV systems and incident reporting tools; capable of conducting basic investigations and audits.
- Strong verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to build trust across cross-functional teams.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and able to meet scheduling needs for nights, weekends, and holiday peak periods.
- Reliable punctuality and consistent attendance; ability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements (30–40 hrs/week for full-time).

Experience
1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention with demonstrated familiarity of retail shrink and safety practices.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
