Sephora is hiring a full-time Asset Protection Partner for its Clackamas store in Portland, Oregon. The role supports store safety, shrink reduction, incident response and audits, with 75–80% of time on the selling floor; the position is permanent and pays $21.00–$24.75 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience and other position- or location-specific business factors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety awareness and lead or participate in meetings and training to strengthen asset protection and reinforce safety protocols.
- Maintain a strong store presence, spending 75–80% of working time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service and maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with store leaders to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and the client experience.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports on asset protection efforts.
- Follow asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple locations as needed.
- Represent Sephora and testify in court on the company’s behalf if required.
- Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours; for full-time, work 30–40 hours per week.
- Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends and holidays, and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink and safety.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
- Conflict de-escalation skills.
- Comfort using CCTV and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
