Sephora Asset Protection Partner role in Ponce, PR—$19.50–$25.88/hr. Full-time, 30–40 hrs/week. Safeguard assets, deter theft, and ensure store safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong floor presence for 75–80% of shift time to deter theft, support customer service, and monitor store safety
- Participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to develop and execute shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor CCTV systems and review loss reports to identify discrepancies and investigate suspected theft or damage
- De-escalate customer and employee incidents with professionalism, prioritizing safety and positive experience
- Execute regular audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts and findings
- Ensure strict compliance with all asset protection policies and regulatory licensing requirements
- Represent Sephora in court proceedings when required to provide testimony on loss or security incidents
- Support multiple store locations as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, inventory shrinkage dynamics, and store safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Proven conflict de-escalation and crisis communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and digital reporting or loss prevention tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50 lbs regularly

1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention. Candidates should demonstrate a solid grasp of retail shrinkage causes, safety protocols, and the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.
Education
