Sephora seeks an Asset Protection Partner at its Pleasanton, CA store. Safeguard retail assets and ensure safety; $25–$29.50/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Spend 75–80% of time on the sales floor to deter theft, support customer service, and maintain a safe retail environment
  • Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training meetings with store personnel
  • Collaborate with store management and the District Asset Protection Manager to implement shrink reduction and loss prevention strategies
  • Monitor store activity using CCTV systems and loss reporting tools to identify and investigate inventory discrepancies
  • De-escalate customer and employee incidents professionally while prioritizing safety and customer experience
  • Complete regular audits and prepare reports on asset protection initiatives and loss prevention efforts
  • Represent Sephora in legal proceedings, including testifying in court as required
  • Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and company procedures
  • Support multiple store locations as needed to maintain consistent loss prevention protocols

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of demonstrated experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory shrinkage, and workplace safety protocols
  • Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
  • Skilled in conflict de-escalation and professional incident response
