Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible store presence (75–80% of shift on the selling floor) to deter theft and support client experience.
  • Monitor CCTV and use reporting tools to identify, investigate and document loss incidents.
  • Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
  • Lead or participate in asset-protection meetings and training to reinforce procedures and awareness.
  • Respond to incidents, de-escalate conflicts professionally, prioritize safety and preserve the client experience.
  • Execute audits, produce asset-protection reports and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
  • Support multiple store locations as needed and represent the company in legal proceedings, including providing testimony when required.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflict and manage incidents calmly and professionally.
  • Strong observational skills, attention to detail and competency with CCTV and reporting tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with store leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform duties on the sales floor for extended periods.

Experience

1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention; experience with CCTV monitoring and incident investigation preferred.
