Sephora in Pittsburgh seeks an Asset Protection Partner — full-time, hourly ($21.00–$24.75/hr) to safeguard store assets and support a safe client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible floor presence (approximately 75–80% of scheduled time) to deter theft, support client service and ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor store activity via CCTV and reporting tools; identify, investigate and document loss events and suspicious activity.
- Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and execute shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Respond to incidents and escalate or de-escalate situations professionally, prioritizing client and team safety while preserving the customer experience.
- Conduct regular asset-protection audits, prepare loss-prevention reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple store locations as required and represent the company in legal or administrative settings, including testifying in court when necessary.
- Participate in trainings, meetings and briefings to reinforce safety protocols and awareness among store teams.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage sensitive incidents with discretion and professionalism.
- Comfortable using CCTV systems and loss-prevention reporting tools; strong attention to detail for audits and documentation.
- Ability to meet scheduling requirements for a full-time retail role (30–40 hours/week), including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as required by store operations.

Experience
1–2 years of relevant experience in retail operations, hospitality, security, asset protection or loss prevention, with hands-on exposure to floor-level deterrence, CCTV monitoring and incident management.
