Sephora in Philadelphia seeks an Asset Protection Partner — full-time hourly role ($23–$27.12/hr) to prevent loss and ensure store safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, proactive presence on the selling floor (approximately 75–80% of time) to deter theft and support client service.
- Implement and promote safety, shrink-reduction and loss-prevention initiatives in collaboration with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager.
- Monitor store activity and investigate potential losses using CCTV and established reporting tools.
- Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts professionally, prioritizing safety and customer experience.
- Conduct audits, prepare asset-protection reports and ensure compliance with company policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent the company in investigations or legal proceedings, including testifying in court when required.
- Participate in meetings and training to reinforce safety protocols and increase awareness across the store team.
- Maintain flexible availability to cover peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) and meet required shift commitments.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Working knowledge of retail shrink, store operations and basic loss-prevention practices.
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflict and manage sensitive incidents calmly and professionally.
- Comfortable using CCTV systems and standard reporting tools to investigate incidents.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform duties on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Reliable punctuality and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience
1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention; experience with CCTV and incident investigation preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in criminal justice, security, or a related discipline preferred.
