Sephora Asset Protection Partner, Palo Alto, CA. Full-time hourly role ($25–$29.50/hr) safeguarding store assets and ensuring safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead and participate in meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document loss incidents
- De-escalate situations professionally while prioritizing client experience and safety
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager on shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Execute audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in legal proceedings when required
- Maintain punctual and consistent attendance; work flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and digital reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to physically lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
