Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading and joining training sessions to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the sales floor to deter theft, support service, and ensure customer and employee safety
- Partner with store leaders and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify and investigate discrepancies
- De-escalate potentially hazardous situations professionally while prioritizing the safety of clients and employees
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports on asset protection efforts for management review
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and comply with licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink reduction, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficiency in conflict de-escalation techniques
- Comfortable and competent with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

Experience
1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or related loss prevention roles, with demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink management, and safety protocols.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in asset protection, loss prevention, or retail security is a plus.
