Sephora in Orem, USA seeks an Asset Protection Partner to protect assets and ensure safety. Hourly full-time role at University Place.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and active presence on the selling floor (75–80% of shift) to deter theft and support client service.
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; identify and investigate incidents of loss or safety concerns.
- Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Respond to and professionally de-escalate incidents; prioritize client and employee safety while preserving the client experience.
- Conduct audits, prepare incident and loss reports, and maintain compliance with asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
- Represent the company in external processes as required, including providing testimony in legal proceedings.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage sensitive incidents with professionalism.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and incident reporting procedures.
- Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with store leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and reliably meet scheduled shift requirements (including nights, weekends and holidays).

Experience
1–2 years of relevant experience in retail operations, loss prevention, security, hospitality or a related customer-service environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or certifications in security, criminal justice or loss prevention preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21 to USD 28.88 per hour.
