Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Ontario, CA. Protect assets and ensure safety for $23–$27.12/hr, full-time position at Mills mall location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the sales floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support client service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and increase team awareness
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and maintaining positive client experience
- Execute compliance audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts
- Handle court testimony on behalf of Sephora when required
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and maintain consistent attendance during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational competence
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention. The candidate should demonstrate familiarity with retail shrink management and workplace safety protocols.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
