Sephora seeks an Asset Protection Partner in New York City to protect store assets, deter theft, and maintain a safe retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading meetings and training to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75-80% of time) to deter theft, support client service, and ensure a secure environment
- Partner with store management to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity and investigate losses using CCTV and reporting tools
- De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Execute audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
- Support multiple locations and maintain flexible scheduling during peak retail operations
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink management, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams
- Conflict de-escalation and professional communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV and reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
