Sephora Asset Protection Partner, New York 5th Avenue—Full-time hourly loss prevention role, $25–$29.50/hr, safeguarding retail assets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and increase awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor CCTV systems and use reporting tools to identify and investigate loss incidents
- De-escalate situations professionally while prioritizing customer experience and employee safety
- Complete audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts and findings
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and applicable licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as assigned
- Represent Sephora and testify in court on behalf of the company if required
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance; meet minimum weekly shift requirements
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink reduction, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Conflict de-escalation and professional incident management skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
