Asset Protection Partner at Sephora New York Times Square – Full-time, $26.25–$30.94/hr. Safeguard store assets and ensure safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain prominent floor presence to deter theft, support customer service, and sustain a safe retail environment for 75–80% of scheduled time
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols and increase awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction initiatives and safety goals
- Monitor store activity, investigate losses, and review CCTV footage using reporting tools to identify and address discrepancies
- De-escalate challenging situations with professionalism, prioritizing safety and client experience throughout incidents
- Execute audits, document findings, and prepare reports to support asset protection efforts and compliance
- Maintain knowledge of all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as assigned
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required, including court testimony
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of verifiable experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Conflict de-escalation skills and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
