Asset Protection Partner at Sephora Times Square, New York — $26.25–$30.94/hr, full-time retail security and loss prevention role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong store presence on the sales floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service delivery, and ensure a safe shopping environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols across the team
- Collaborate with store management and the District Asset Protection Manager to align on shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing both safety and customer experience
- Execute store audits and prepare asset protection reports for management review
- Ensure strict compliance with all asset protection policies and regulatory licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and represent Sephora in legal proceedings when required
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance, meeting all minimum weekly shift requirements and availability during nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
