Sephora Asset Protection Partner in New York (Harlem) | Full-time, $25–$29.50/hr | Deter loss, ensure safety

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
  • Lead and participate in asset protection meetings and training to reinforce safety protocols across the store
  • Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
  • Use CCTV monitoring and reporting tools to identify, document, and investigate suspected losses and incidents
  • De-escalate situations professionally while prioritizing the safety of clients and employees
  • Complete audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts and findings
  • Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and legal compliance standards
  • Represent Sephora in legal proceedings, including testifying in court if required
  • Support multiple store locations as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
  • Demonstrable understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
  • Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
