Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols and increase awareness across the team
- Collaborate with store managers and district leadership to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify, monitor, and investigate losses or suspicious activity
- De-escalate conflict situations professionally, prioritizing safety and the client experience
- Complete audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts and findings
- Testify in court on behalf of Sephora when required
- Support multiple store locations as needed
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and observational acuity
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
