Sephora Montreal: Asset Protection Partner role safeguarding store inventory with surveillance, investigation, and loss prevention responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct on-floor surveillance and monitor CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter or apprehend individuals committing theft
- Comply with all Sephora policies and legal regulations regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation
- Prepare comprehensive reports on thefts, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and security audits
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil matters as required
- Deliver loss prevention training to new hires and existing staff to foster awareness and compliance
- Perform in-store audits and inspections of security checklists and safety measures
- Assist store management team with inventory preparation and related processes
- Collaborate with district loss prevention management to develop and execute loss prevention plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in retail
- Current and maintained professional licenses as required by provincial or local authorities
- Strong oral and written communication skills, active listening ability, and interpersonal communication expertise
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to work across multiple store locations within a single market
- Physical ability to lift approximately 20 kg
- Ability to bend and stretch to place products on shelves
- Comfort working in proximity to fragranced products

Experience
Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in retail commerce.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 30 per hour.
