Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site surveillance and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter theft.
  • Adhere to all Sephora policies regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation.
  • Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and audits.
  • Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
  • Provide loss prevention training to new hires and current employees.
  • Perform in-store audits and security inspections.
  • Assist store management with stock preparation and processes.
  • Collaborate with district loss prevention managers to develop and execute loss prevention plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention in retail.
  • Meet and maintain licensing requirements as per provincial or local authorities.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills, including listening and interviewing abilities.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Capability to work across multiple stores within a market.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within the retail sector.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
