Sephora Canada hiring Asset Protection Partner in Mississauga, ON. Full-time loss prevention role offering CAD $25–30/hr plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and apprehend or deter individuals committing external theft
- Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and security audits
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers
- Provide new-hire and continuous employee training to maintain store loss prevention awareness
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager
- Partner with stores and District Loss Prevention Manager in development and execution of shrinkage prevention plans
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases as required
- Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies concerning apprehensions, searches, seizures, and evidence preservation
- Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; availability to work multiple locations within a market
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Current and valid asset protection or loss prevention licensing as required by Ontario or local jurisdiction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work varying hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work across multiple store locations within an assigned market
