Sephora Canada is hiring a Part‑Time Asset Protection Partner in Mississauga, ON to lead loss-prevention efforts and safeguard store assets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous surveillance of the sales floor and monitor CCTV systems to detect, deter and document external and internal theft.
- Apprehend, interview and process subjects in accordance with applicable law and Sephora policies; preserve evidence and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with store leadership, District Loss Prevention Manager and local law enforcement or mall security on investigations and prosecutions.
- Deliver new-hire and ongoing staff training on loss-prevention practices and in‑the-moment coaching to reduce shrinkage.
- Perform regular store self-audits, safety inspections and checklist activities; report findings and recommend remediation to leadership.
- Support inventory preparation and operational controls; participate in shrinkage prevention planning and execution.
- Testify in court when required and represent the company professionally in legal or administrative proceedings.
- Work scheduled shifts across assigned locations, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet operational coverage requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a retail environment; 3 years preferred.
- Satisfy and maintain any provincial or local licensing requirements for security/loss-prevention duties.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing and interpersonal skills; ability to write clear incident and audit reports.
- Demonstrated ability to remain composed and provide effective coaching under pressure.
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and basic computer applications (Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to work across multiple locations as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine physical tasks (bending, stretching, stocking).

Experience
One to three years of hands‑on asset protection or loss‑prevention experience within retail, including surveillance, apprehensions, incident documentation and close collaboration with store leadership and external authorities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
