Sephora Canada — Asset Protection Partner in Mississauga, ON. Full-time loss prevention role at Heartland Town Centre, CAD$25–30/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive surveillance on the sales floor and via CCTV to deter, identify and apprehend external theft in compliance with applicable law and company policy.
  • Provide courteous, professional client service while maintaining vigilance for loss-prevention risks.
  • Prepare detailed incident, recovery, audit and accident reports; preserve evidence and support internal investigations.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with store leadership, District Loss Prevention Manager, local law enforcement, mall security and neighbouring retailers.
  • Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training; coach frontline employees in-the-moment on prevention techniques.
  • Perform store self-audits, safety inspections and inventory-readiness activities; communicate findings and support shrinkage prevention plans.
  • Appear and testify in court when required on behalf of the company.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment; 3+ years preferred.
  • Satisfy and maintain any provincial or local licensing requirements for security/loss prevention personnel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to remain composed and provide effective coaching in high-pressure situations.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to work across multiple store locations within the market.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and stocking.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail asset-protection or loss-prevention experience is required; candidates with 3+ years of progressive experience in retail loss prevention are preferred.
